Happy Holiday Reading..

This lockdown period has been challenging in many ways. I have found it challenging regarding my two sons, who love sport and being outdoors. We have managed to nurture the love of books and reading in them both as they have grown up around the book business. They have spent a fair bit of their time outdoors reading these holidays! Enjoying the sun and their books. I have discovered that making reading a chore is not going to excite kids, but being the example, helps tremendously. Show your kids how relaxing and enjoyable reading can be. Read to them. Share in their books...even read their books.

I read a lot of kid's book because it's part of my business, but I find I have the most amazing conversations with kids over a book. It is such a special way to connect with children of all ages, even teens. Books can bring people of all ages together. It is an experience worth sharing with one another. So, HAPPY HOLIDAY READING.
